New Student Orientation is mandatory for all incoming NC State students. Students arriving in the Fall semester typically go through New Student Orientation during the month of July. Accepted students that plan to attend NC State will be asked to visit the college to participate in various activities that will acclimate the incoming student to NC State and the College of Design.

During New Student Orientation, students will learn about NC State University, register for classes, stay overnight in a residence hall, meet with their college representatives, receive information about campus resources, and meet other students.
