Design Laser System Client

Client Download

The Design Laser System Client is required to access the system. You can download and install it on to your computer. It is also available on all College of Design computer workstations, including cluster machines. The software is available for Windows and Macintosh users.

Windows Users

Download the current version of the Design Laser System Client for Microsoft Windows.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows XP or 2000
  • Screen capable of at least 1280 x 1024 resolution

Windows Installation Instructions

To install the Windows Design Laser System client, follow these steps:

  1. Download the client. Save the setupdis.exe file to your desktop.
  2. Double-click on the file you downloaded, and the installer program will begin. Click Next in each part of the installation wizard, making any changes you deem necessary (the default install settings is preferred).
  3. When the installation is completed, click FINISH and the installer will close. You may delete the setupdis.exe icon from your desktop.

Macintosh Users

Download the current version of the Design Laser System Client for Mac OS X.

Macintosh Installation Instructions

  1. Download  the client. Save the DesignLaserSystem.dmg file to your desktop.
  2. Double-click on the file you downloaded and it will open and mount the drive image. If it does not automatically open a window, double-click on the new disk drive labeled Design Laser System Client that appreas on your desktop.
  3. Inside the new window, click-and-drag the Design Laser System file to your Applications folder.
  4. Drag the disk drive labeled Design Laser System Client to your Trash Can. This will un-mount the drive. YOu may also delete the DesignLaserSystem.dmg file from your desktop.
