Whatever You Did, It Worked.

It's not easy for a student to be accepted into the College of Design. To be admitted, your loved-one had to draw on their inborn talents as well as their past education and experience. It's rare that a student can say they truly "did it alone." Many others had a hand in nurturing your student.

Your loved one is going to have an amazing experience at the College. It's going to mean a lot of work, a fair bit of stress, and more than one all-nighter in studio classes. Your support may be called on along the way.

It's not that the College likes to see students suffer. It's just that over the decades the faculty and staff at the College of Design have learned how to turn raw talent into design powerhouses. Our graduates routinely do exceptionally well in their chosen industries.

It's why in 2010 our student team won one of the most prestigious urban design competitions in the country, beating out Harvard, Penn, and over 100 other prestigious university teams.

It's why our industrial design students won four out of the five top spots in the annual New York Auto Show this year, and why one ID student won the Shell Oil Car Contest outright, even being able to drive his own finished prototype.

We could list numerous other awards and honors that may be in store for your student. Our point is that your student made a choice in which the chances of success are very, very good.

Just so we can help you help your student going forward, please check out the following links on safety, as well as special events that would benefit from your attendance. We think you'd gain a great deal by being an integral part of the design community.

And once again: Thank you.
