Biography

Angela Brockelsby is the Director of Communication at the College of Design. Prior to joining the college she was a web developer and design consultant for the Office of Information Technology at NC State University. She has also worked as a multimedia consultant for the Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology, and Science and as a teaching artist for the Eyebeam Atelier.

In her current role, Angela works closely with the Dean and the Brand Director on strategic communications for the college. Angela is also the technical lead and content manager and producer for many of the communication outlets at the College including the main website, sub sites, social media sites, college calendar and Design Influence Magazine.

Along with her duties as director, Angela is a member of the University Communicators group, University Communications advisory board, the web/digital subcommittee as well as a member of the web developers group on campus.

Angela received her master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, bachelor's degree in Communication from NC State University and a graduate certificate in Technology and Communication from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC Chapel Hill.
