Biography

Jean Marie Livaudais develops and organizes continuing education opportunities for design professionals, including the College’s annual urban design conference. She serves as the College's liaison to design professional associations and firms, coordinates the new College of Design Board of Visitors and is extensively involved in alumni relations and events. When Livaudais began working at the College in 2000, she served for two years raising funds as the College of Design's advancement director.

Previously, Livaudais served as the development director of the SPCA of Wake County and worked for several years in development at the North Carolina Museum of Art. She was president of the Associations of Fundraising Professionals in 2001 and served for several years on the board of Arts Together.

Livaudais relishes opportunities to meet amazing designers, to learn how they use design to make the world a better place, and to connect them with each other.
